When is it over?

My duck season ends a week from tomorrow for the northwest part of Oklahoma.  The rest of the state has the final day the last Sunday of January.

Have any of you guys/gals had season end yet, if not when?

I am just a little curious.

In Illinois, the Northern and Central Zones have both closed for duck hunting. The Southern Zone closes to duck hunting on January 11th.

23 January in SW Louisiana

The first split was pitiful.  Few ducks down.

Second opened nicely with Widgeons galore, but that has tapered off with warmer weather.  

And the geese still aren't making much of a showing.

Maybe next year.

I live and hunt in the 'North Zone' of Texas and our season ends Jan 30th. Hunting in the 'South Zone' ends Jan 18th. This doesn't make any sence to me. Shouldn't the 'South Zone' season run longer since the ducks are flying south?

It just ended for me today. I only got out for geese 4 times this year and didn't do any duck hunting. Next year is going to be a different story. I've got an invite to join a club that I've been free loading off of for a while. I'll definitely hunt if I've spent money for the privilidge.
