That's a very cool looking AK!  How do you like your modifications as compared to the original?

the primary difference is the addition of a extended booster... thats attached to the barrel..The Yugo M92 Krinkov has a 10" barrel
The extended booster is blind pinned to the barrel to get it to legal length
This kit was a unfired new gun before it was cut up to be sold as a kit..
There was no evidence on the bolt face it was ever fired.. This is the best parts kit i ever bought..condition wise..

I always have the option of making a SBR out of it..

If your muzzle brake is only pinned, you already have a SBR!

The booster is not removable..
its blind pinned..meaning the pins are welded in place..

Blind pins are the least destructive way of doing this.. they can be
removed with little dammage  to the muzzle..  still will have to grind off the welds and drill the pins out..  to remove it..
ATF requires welding or blind pins to add a extension... as long as its not
easly removable..

or you have to carry it around with the safety disengaged. Get on an electronic shooting timer sometime. From low ready, react, disengage the safety, and hit a man's 10" chest circle, at 25 yds.  Do it 10x, averaging the times. You'll be over 2 seconds average, instead of under 1 second like with the CAR-15. When enemies are each firing at you 4x per second, just giving away an entire second is a pretty stupid thing to do.

Like I said, get on an electronic shooting timer. They are $100, 10% of the cost of the Krink, and are a vital training tool. Engage the safety, hold the rifle at low ready, finger outside of the guard. at the beep of the timer, react, and get a hit on a 10" circle at 25 yds, see if you can manage the sub 1.0 second average that an AR user can. :-) You'll have trouble cracking 2.0 seconds with the AR, unless you've added a thumb safety on the other side of the gun. That's about $150 extra custom smithing.

I think he's trying to say that the safety on the AK is awkward and slow to disengage. Which is an accurate statement. However, in a hot zone you'd have a hard time finding one with the safety engaged, as per my experience.
