Crosman Mk II pistols
« on: January 27, 2005, 01:33:20 PM »
I have two Mk II Crosmans from the late  60's.  Both are in zippered plastic cases.  One has the manual with owner information and is in very good to excellent condition.  The other is good to very good.  Both function well and seem quite accurate.  Any idea of their value?  Thanks.

Mayor,

They are worth between $70 and $100 depending how how bad someone wants them.  Check with MAC-1.  They list $75 as their purchase price.

Their real value is in converting them to Mark I (.22).   That's what I'm having done to mine.  A little tuning but otherwise it'll be pretty stock.  The guns were a good buy.   Real adjustable sights.  Adjustable Trigger.

Of course you can always go whole hog and trade it for the LD pistol that Tim sells.

Made a mistake.  They are Mark I .22's.  Therefore worth more?

Mark I's are worth more

Yes, the Mk I is worth more because the .22 is a more desiable calibre for this gun.   $10-$20 more.   In fact it cost about $20 to convert a II to a I.

MAC-1 says the gun performs better in .22 and is more accurate.

As I said, I had a Mk II and am having it converted to a Mk I.

Tim at Mac-1 is now paying $100 (you pay to ship it to him).  Doesn't matter if its a Mark I or Mark II. Doesn't even have to work, just be complete (no missing parts). Or, he allows $110 trade-in if your buying something from him.
