speed of slugs and rubber bullets?

what is the average velocity of a 12 ga. slug?

and I've seen shotguns loaded with rubber bullets (or slugs, I don't know what they exactly are)
any ideas of the velocity of those?

anybody an idea about the rubber ones?
(I believe they're the kind used in prison by the guards and in riots by the police, for not to kill the people)

He was right, 1400-1900 but the average is 1600 which is very common for a foster slug.  The rubber slugs are much slower.  They travel about 500 fps becuase any more and they would penetrate.  They also use sandbags like on the jackass movie which only go about 230 fps.
