I know there`s alot of talk about floating the barrel
with rubber O rings and plastic coffee tops, But try
this.... get a piece of clear vinyl tubing from your local
hardware store 7/16OD x 5/16 ID cut off a small piece
about 5/16 long...Slip it over the lug and put on the
forend, You might have to try a couple of times on the
lengh, The vinyl kind of forms around the lug...works
great that vinyl is really tuff... :D

I picked up a piece of that to try a couple months ago. I have not got around to try it yet. I have also put short pieces of that mounting tape close to each end of the forend to equalize the pressure at both ends that should dampen any vibration. Seems to work pretty well.
shot placement is everything.

Have any Handi-holics used silicone caulk to bed the forearm in? Works with bolt guns one piece stocks. Can be had in bronze, black and clear plus others. It'll change barrel harmonics as well and put less stress on the wood forearm then the washer system. :-)
