I posted on the gunsmithing board also.
Right eye doesn't work like it used to due to surgery.
I have a Ruger MK II and a Blackhawk, love shooting them both but have a real hard time focusing on the sights and target. I'd rather not scope them if possible.
Do they make better replacement sights out there?

What is your actual problem with conventional iron sights? The suggestions I've seen all have merits, but they really solve different problems.

There are plenty FIBER OPTIC sights listed in Brownells for both pistols listed. I put a Weigan Combat front sight on my Bisley. It has interchangeable sight blades(ramp,Patridge,fiber optic,gold bead, and night sights.) You can also get them in different heights. Try a set. You will like them. :grin:

Mt. How do you like that apeture for hunting? Looks very interesting.
The problem is I have lost vision detail, the rear sight looks fine but everything else gets fuzzy depending on light condition and dryness of the eye.
Most types of shooting I've learned to shoot with both eyes open but it is hard to do with current sights.
The fiber front sight seems to be the main option.
