In the mill where I work we keep LPS 1,2&3 in multiple case quantities. It's a convenient lube but it dries up, and dust will stick to it. We'd spray it on whatever we wanted to lube and it'd last for 8-10 hours then needed to be reapplied.
The directions on the can say that it doesn't dry out gum up or attract dust but I can tell you from long experience that it does do all 3 of these things.
There are lubes/treatments specificly made for triggers etc. Get some of that type stuff if you feel the need to treat your triggers. I could have all the LPS I wanted for free. I don't have a single can.
