Picked up the new Ruger P345 today. Got it at a gun show in San Antonio, TX. for 389.00 + Tax. Really like the feel and look of this new Ruger, can't wait to go burn some ammo thru it. One thing I can say for Ruger, you sure get alot of gun for your money !!!!!!!!!!! anyhooo anybody else been playin' with this new toy also

Its getting very positive reviews over on Rugerforum.com. Everyone was boo-hooing about the new "safety" features, but it seeme that all is forgotten the minute they pick the gun up :lol: .

Just bought one last week. Mine is the blued (black) version. Have about 75 rounds through it, FMJ and Silvertips. No problems whatsoever. Really like the way it feels. Re-assembles easier than my P-94 with the link to line up, More like the P-95. As for the safeties, figure Ruger has to make what they can sell in the most places. Principle is great, but you gotta make a profit.

Please let me know how the blue-ing holds up, may want that version for concealability. Seems like it comes off on other guns (springfield).

guntest didn't like the accuracy. They theorized that the notch in the grip led to the trigger finger going further into the trigger. leading to bad accuracy.

Will let you know. The blue in mine looks closer to black and the finish is excellent. Looks much better than my Springfield Ultra Compact which needs to be touched up regularly. I am very pleased so far.
