What about the BROWNING B.P.R.?

Although not as smooth as REMINGTON 141, it still nexts deserves mention because of it MAGNUM properties!
What do you think guy`s was it just a solution to a none exsisent problem, or do we have FAN BASE here?

I have never shot one and handled just 2 but if I ran up on a deal on one in 308 I just would have to try it out I have a BAR  and a older BBR and like the quailty of the Brownings

When I heard that Browning was making the BPR, I ran out to check some out.  I was pretty excited about the idea, but two things turned me off about them;
     1.  I didn't like the different color of the alum. receiver
     2.  I didn't like the way the forend rubbed on the receiver.  Even on the display models I looked at the forend was taking a toll on the receiver finish.

I never really got past those two things...combined with the solution to a non-existant problem thing, so I never really looked into it any further.
