I saw a few listings on ebay for 308 plastic bullets.
has anyone seen / used them before? how well do they work?

I was thinking they may be fun to use out of my savage 10fp-le2

I have used the speer 38 plastic cases and bullets and they are great for indoor shooting.

ricky, the military used some plastic cased 308 ammo for indoor practice
 in certain European countries. It's down loaded for this use . They also make a BLANK round.Mike Dillon uses them occassionally when he shows off his quad mini mount. Now THAT's a ground hog gun!
