Briley Choke Tube... Accuracy Problem?

Last year I sent Briley my barrel from an Ithaca SKB XL 900 20ga. semi-auto and had them put choke tubes in. It has a extra thin barrel and they were the only ones that could do it. This gun shoots 3" shells and I want to use it for turkey hunting. I've had this gun for 20 years and shot lots of skeet, doves, woodcock, rabbits. It has always been a POA shotgun. It had a IM cylinder choke. I never shot the gun until today and tried to pattern it with Briley's extra full lead choke and Federal 3" 1-5/16 oz. #4 and #6. The center of the pattern is a foot high and a foot right @ 35 yards. I raised the front bead, which is fiber optic up an 1/8" inch and the center is still 6 + inches high. Cant go any more. Have aim a foot right to get it on center. I dont know what to do. Should I call Briley and see what they say or should I try to find someone to bend the barrel? Figured this would be a place to start. Thanks, Mike

First be certain the tube is tight. If it is and it most likely will be then indeed, give Briley a call.  Improperly installed tubes are usually correctable and can lead to problems down the road, depending on the reason for the in-accuarcy...

Briley`s is  a great company to deal with, call them to set up return shippment, since we are talking about the thin wall system there is not alot of room for error or repair.
worst case would be installing a set of william fire sights to the vent rib,(which are clamp on and of quality) may not be right but would get you thru the season til proper repairs could be made.

Called Briley today and they told me to shoot the gun off a sand bag and shoot all three chokes. Then take out the choke and shoot one thru the threads and see where the shot goes and call them back. So as soon as the weather is nicer I will do this. mike

Did what Briley suggested with 1 oz #6 shot and the pattern was right on target. I had a camo gun sock on and took it off before shooting today. It must have been the sock making me be off the gun or something. It shot POA today, so looks like I need to test ammo for the right one for this gun. Nothing wrong with Brileys work, it was shooters error. Mike
