Author Topic: Picked up my Browning 53 32-20 tonight! (Read 930 times)

Went after work tonight and picked up the Model 53 I had put money down on a couple weeks ago. Wood is even nicer than I remembered and the action isn't to bad considering its got 15yr old oil and grease in it.
I'll clean it up and maybe shoot it this weekend. The manual says it should have a 5 1/2 lb trigger pull from the factory and from dry firing it I would have to say thats pretty close. I need to place an order for some dies, bullets and maybe some more brass real soon. Thanks for letting me pound on my chest some !! :wink:

That IS a nice rifle Jim; Glad you posted the pic. I didn`t know what a mod 53 looked like.

Hopefully I'll find out this weekend. I loaded up some Miester 115gr cast with 6.0 gr AA#5 How does yours shoot?
