Help: Browning Gold Hunter vs. Browning Gol

Don't have any experience with the fusion, but I can tell that the receiver is aluminum on the standard Gold Model so I am not sure how they could take a pound out of it.

Help: Browning Gold Hunter vs. Browning Gol

The browning gold fusion is supposed to be a sporting clays model for the "Gold Family"  They lightened it up by puting a light contour barrel on it and utilizing an alloy reciever.  I have a browning gold hunter and absolutely love it.  It has yet to have any problems after 3-4000 rounds and has never even had a shell stick, even after the famous day that i shot 2 cases through it without cleaning it, and those were dirty little Winchester Western loads.  Loved it so much that I bought a Winchester SuperX2, same gas system and most of the same parts as browning, just got a really good deal from a Winchester Rep.  My gold is a 20ga and my SX2 is a 12 3.5" mag.  I have all my bases covered in two guns.
