DEER SEASON IS OVER HERE IN BAMA BUT I WANTED TO SAY THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED ME WITH BULLET SELECTION , TO FRED M FOR HELP WITH THE BARREL NOTCH SPECS , AND FOR ALL THE COMRADERIE THAT GOES ON HERE. MY HANDI TOTAL FOR THE YEAR ( NOT BRAGGING, JUST SHARING !! ) IS 14 DEER 2 HOGS AND A COYOTE. IT HAS BEEN AN AWESOME YEAR. MY STAINLESS 243 IS GETTING A WELL DESERVED REST. I ALSO NEED TO INCLUDE IN MY TALLY 2 NEW HANDI OWNERS AS WELL AS SEVERAL OTHERS WHO ARE VERY INTRIGUED IN THESE GUNS. HOPE YOU FOLKS HAD A GOOD SEASON !!

Sounds like your limit is one per day. It used to be like that when I lived in South Carolina, but not here. It's one per year.

14 in ONE SEASON, I'm impressed. Do YOU eat all of them?

Did you mount the 2 Handi owners on the wall? :lol:

dont worry fish280, i only said the ones i got with my handi , i got a few more with a 50 cal and my 20 ga. but the critters that did not go to my freezer all went to older folks in my church and hunters for the hungry. it was my best year ever besides when that little spike that walked up on december 23 1988 at 7:15 am when i was facing due east on a cold morning and became my first victim. i still smile about that deer . yall take it easy.

I was in Charlston, and a little town near there of Goose Creeek. Went to one year high school there.

It was 1969. (been a while!)
