Customer Service has "never seen the web site"

I called customer service before shipping my rifle back for an accessory barrel and asked if the web site pricing and shipping info was up to date.  The conversation went something like this:

Are the web prices and shipping info correct?
I don't know, I've never seen the web site.  What do you want?
I want a 223 bull barrel w/rail and hammer, and the web says $93.
No, that barrel is only $83.
Really?  For item number 323?
Yes, I'm looking at the prices right here.
The standard 223 barrel without the accessories is $83 on the web.
Yes.
And the bull barrel with the accessories is also $83? Which one is the correct price?
Hm.  Let me change the catolog.  Ok.  Done.  It's $93 plus $25 for shipping and fitting.  
How long is the turnaround time?
About 4-8 weeks, but right now they're saying closer to 4 weeks.  
Ok, thank you.

You'd think that someone who works for customer service would at least LOOK at the company's web site...  Oh well.  I don't care about the $10, I just don't want my order getting hung up because of a discrepancy in the prices. :eek:

Ya gotta give the "New Englander" a break.... with all the popularity of  these single shot rifles....he never has time to see the web site. I know I as probably many others here have been on hold with them longer than a couple minutes....without a toll free 800 number.
But then if they were like other companies,,,the product would most likely cost more too.       Don't change a thing!
