Varget is a very accurate powder, measures well, many bench shooters would agree, does not seem to be sensitive to extreme temps, I have used it in my 30/06 & my scoped Marlin 450 guidegun, I found it to be a very good mild load for the 450 guidegun, I used 57gr of varget, basically fills the case, got this load from hornady, since there was not a load listed using a Hornadys 350gr interlock, only a 400gr bullet using Varget. I was running around 1800 fps with cloverleaf accuracy at 100 yards, the same goes for the 30/06, using 180gr sst's & 150gr Interlocks & 180gr Vmax, shot one hole all day at 100 yards using the scoped 30/06. I was turned on to Varget from a old bench shooter years ago, I always have some in my house;) Aim small hit small. RAMbo.
