Stingers in the Romanian 69
« on: March 13, 2005, 12:25:10 PM »
Just wondering I have not tried these in my Romanian 69 and do not want to buy a box if the case is too long for these guns. Any one try them and what was the results. I know some guns like them and some hate them but I would buy a box to try if the case is not too long for the Romanian 69.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Jim,

I think your OK using the stingers in your rifle.  The only barrels I've ever seen the manufacture recommend NO STINGERS are custom barrels with match chambers.

However let me offer you an alternative = CCI Velocitors
Velocitors are really a good step up in power from high velocity 22LRs.  Having a standard length case the velocitors aren't a problem with chambers like stingers are.  Also, all the rifles I've seen shoot both shoot velocitors more accurately!
