There was the TCR 83, followed by the TCR 87.  They (some of them at least) came in two grades, Hunter and Aristocrat.  The Aristocrat had double set triggers.  I think the 87 was beefed up a bit for magnum calibers.  Some of the other readers of this forum will know more.

Originally it was a TCR-83.  Set trigger and interchangable barrels.  Then they came out with the TCR-87.  Same gun but with a single trigger.  Then in 92 they came out with a Magnum conversion, where you could send your frame in and have it converted to shoot the new magnum barrels, .338 Win Mag, and 375 H&H.  Then they brought out the Aristocrate which was nothing more than going back to the set trigger.

I own a TCR-83.  I love it!  The TCR-83 is the sweetest shooting gun I own.  I've killed Caribou at 400 yards with the .243 and 7MM Mag barrels.  I've shot many Moose with the .338 barrel (and recoil was not near what I expected).  I don't know how many birds (Ducks, Geese, Grouse, Ptarmigan, and Turkey) I've shot with the 12 ga barrel.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
