Anybody see this in the paper?  Fish and Feathers are thinking about a bow hunt.  Hope this works out better than the last one.

Read that article.  It's going to be a hard sell, especially when all the bleeding hearts remember last time.  They won't except that there is better control now than then.  Everyone has to be certified, and prove they can hit a target.  Also there won't be as many people as last time.  Back then people that had never shot a bow in their lives were going to the pawn shops and getting bows.  Then they were shooting anything that looked like a Moose.  Anywhere they could stick an arrow was fine by them.  The people shooting those arrows back then did not realise that it was not as easy as they thought.  I remember Dads taking their kids bows, 25 to 35 lbs and trying for a Moose.  I even overheard a few comments "You don't need broadheads!  Field tips will kill one just fine, all you got to do is hit the heart or lungs".  Like I said it's going to be a hard sell.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

That may do more harm than good.  The anti-hunters like ammunition like that.  Sure would be nice though if it were successful.
