Could someone give me  info on these rifles before I make a trade with someone?  I heard there was a recall on them.  What is their quality? Thanks again! :D

quality is excellent. They are identical to the ULA that sells for $2800 except the stock is injection molded plastic instead of hand-laid kevlar. I have two friends with "real" ULA rifles and I've been able to compare everything on them.
Recall was only on 30-06 model. Something about the trigger.
Accuracy is superb. I have two of them. One in 270 and one that was a 7mm Mag but is now a 7mm WSM. Both are 1/2-3/4" guns. Most places are selling them for $399-$460. I bought one for $325 (used but unfired) and the other for $399 brand new. Hope this helps.

If you get the deal you want jump on it. They shoot well & handle even better. Great lightweight set-up. Just my $0.02 worth!!!

One of the vendors at last weekend's gun show had a stack of colts NIB for $399.  I think they are a pretty nice rifle for that price.  I've never shot one, but they handle pretty nice and are very light in my opinion.  If nothing else they have colt stamped on the barrel and will probably be fairly collectable down the road.  Good shooting, Weagle

If it helps, I used to sell guns, and all the Colt light rifles had a tag inside the box that said there was a recall on the 30/06 and if this tag was in the box, the rifle was checked out and ok.

Thanks, and the rifle did have a card that said it wasn't part of the recall. :toast:
