I just got my Bushmaster today.
« on: January 18, 2005, 04:15:57 PM »
I bought the M4A3 with the bull barrel.  I wa astonished at how much it resembled my M4A3 that I used to carry (albeit with out the select fire).  I paid $839 for it and I absolutely love it.  I bought 1000 rounds of SS109 from Cheaper than Dirt today (to bring back the complete expreience...heh heh).  The only thing I did not get today because they didn't have it was an ACOGs unit.  I have always shot well with open sights, so it was no big deal.  Anybody else have one of these, and what do you have as far as accessories?

I bought it because it reminded me of the one I carried for so long in the Army.  I had heard they are the best for the money, and the store I bought it at had them for cheap.  I really enjoy it.

I bought a Rock River Arm's AR-15 A2 Tasc rifle last year. I'll be on my way to Fort Drum (home of the 10th Mountain Division) in about a half hour to get some 30 rd. pre-ban magazine for it! N.Y. pasted a law that mirrors the federal assault weapons ban. :(  so we still have to have pre-ban!
