It has been quiet for the last few days, hasn't it?  Maybe everyone is getting ready for a match!!  :-D   When's your next one?  You have all your stuff yet?

Its this weekend....and much to my frustration I dont have everything yet.
I am doing the UPS shuffle....waiting and waiting..  I think I should have one of my handguns tommorow along with my extra match longgun. I am guessing that my second handgun should be here the first of next week I hope.  I sent the money for my 45/70 Monday so I am not sure when it will get here......I sure dont like having this much money in limbo...makes me nervous.
I have found 2 shotguns this past week or so.  I was looking for a match for my 41 mag blackhawk and ended up with 2 shotguns instead..
I bought a Stevens 5100 12 gauge and a 1897.  Got great deals on them both. I might shoot them a little while and get rid of them.  Who knows about me  I kinda like buyin and sellin guns.  
My leather from big ed should be in process I hope.  I have other stuff I got from Pecos Clyde that I am using for now.  
Hopefully I will have everything by next match.

You gonna be sure and up date your "Diary of a New Shooter" when you get back?  I know, you don't qualify as a "new shooter" any more, but your diary sure makes for a good read!  :)

I've been on the phone a lot trying to round up more advertisers and also folks who will swap goods for advertising. Having limited success.

Spoke with Big Ed today and he said my leather is in process and he is taking a banner.

Jimmy at Shooting Carts says he'll get my cart to me this month and his ad will be up soon.

Got some maybes on a custom hat, custom boots and clothing but nothing firm.

EMF hasn't shipped the two revolvers and rifle they are loaning me but should this week I hope. Got ammo on the way from Hornady, Black Hills and Ammo Direct.

Dunno why things have slowed down. Almost half the new members registering seem to be CAS pards just by looking at the names. Just a bit shy about posting their first I guess. Ain't cowboys sposed ta be shy?  :)

Well heck I aint shy.....Yeah I dont want to take all the credit but I have been beatin the drum for ya. I have seen a few folks here that I rounded up.  All good folks too.  
I will keep up the installments on my story....I hope to shoot this weekend the weather hasnt cooperated much this week.

Well, I had seven twelve hour watches to work this week and I've been foolin around with my "new" lever gun in my spare time, along with modifiying a bullet mold to create something unique to shoot through it.

(stand by for the story on that once I get some decent weather...it's -15 degrees here this AM.  :eek: )
