My 445 super mag brass is streching real bad, just running the new brass through the sizing die increase's the length .005 " . Some that I loaded and fired,and resizec increased the length ..020". Any Ideas? Digger

Maybe you could adjust your size die to only resize the case enough to hold the new bullet?

It may be just first firing lengthing the brass,just fired some after trimming and and everthing was the same measurements. The 240 gr Rem. bullets and 32 grs. of 296 went through the chrono at 2128 avg.. Should be just right for whitetails and hogs. Digger

May I suggest dropin' 'em in the chamber before you full length size. Set the dies up so you only size the top 1/2" or so of the case. Ain't no need to full length size the brass, after being fired once it just ain't gonna streach that much any more, unless you full length size it again. That Starline brass is good stuff, I've been shooting the same hundred cases I bought for my 44 2 years ago. Mind you I ain't pushing full house loads, but 40 + loadings without losing a case is not bad at all.
