Came across a Lyman .433 RB mould with handles in a junk store for peanuts. It's really rough on the outside but casts perfectly. Seems to me to be the perfect size for .44 Mag barrels.

Should have a plinking report in a few days it the weather co-operates.

I love junk stores!! :-) Hard for me to drive anywhere without stoppin and brousin caus eya never know what kind of treasure you'll stumble on..

Loaded up a few of the .433 RBs over 6 grains of PB. First five went into 1.5" at 25 yards. Four of the next group went into about 2", but I had an uncalled flyer which opened that group to just under 3". Suspect that a bit more lube might help.

Lotta fun. The report is more of a cough than a bang.

Marlin .44 Mag carbine. It's microgroove so a Handi should give very similar results.
