Does anyone here know how to get the fore end off a Saiga rifel?

Remove the screw holding the front swivel.  It is held in place by a loose nut, so don't loose it.  Swing the gas tube lever up, lift up the gas tube cover and slide the forend off forward.  There is a spring in the rear of the forend pressing against the receiver.
