Aftermarket grip covers for Glock
« on: April 07, 2005, 12:02:28 PM »
They used to make a grip covering for a Glock that looked like it was made out of suede or something similar. I carry concealed at work and the skateboard tape will eat up my clothes>

Does anyone carry their Glock with a light mounted in a concealment holster? If so which holster.

 Thanks

Check out the Decal grip they offer for GLOCKS. I use it on my Model 27 for CC and I also use it on my duty weapon Model 22. They come custom cut - all you have to do is clean the grip w/ some denatured alchy and peel and stick. They come in sand paper and a rubber compound texture. I use the rubber and it does not chew up my uniform or civies.

Do a search for Decal Grip and they should pop up.

One of the advantages of carrying a Glock concealed is that your clothing will not hang up on it as a general rule. And, in factory config, it doesn't have the sharp edges (grip extenders)to imprint its location on clothing, even a tee shirt.  Choose your aftermarket gismos carefully, so you don't sacrifice these advantages.  :D

:cb2: My Glock is one of the first G21s and it doesn't have the finger grooves. I have a Hogue rubber slip on grip, and it's great. Never had any problems of it snagging clothing.

I have one on my G30 and love it.  I will be putting one on my new 26 and know I shall enjoy that too.  Give a good grip and does not stick to clothing.
