I am looking for information about a regional smallbore championship called the Sunshine Classic. I understand it is held in Jacksonville each April.

The host club's web site has not been updated in almost a year and e-mail to them bounces back. Can anyone put me in touch with someone who would know if it is on for 2004 and if so what the date will be.

Chuck Deason runs the match. Try him at Cwdgun@aol.com, you'll find him to be extremely friendly and helpful. This is one of the best matches held anywhere. Sarah

Thanks Sarah. Im hearing a lot of good things about that match.

I found the Cwdgun@aol.com address on the Gateway Rifle & Pistol Club web site, but it bounces back as User unknown. Yankee gave me an address for Chuck Deason at msn.com that does not bounce back, but I have not gotten a reply yet.

I also found a 904 area phone number and will probably try that next.

I did hear back from Mr. Deason. Here is what he had to say:

"Jim, The dates for the match is going to be on the 3rd weekend in April. Normally we have it on the 2nd weekend but Easter is the 2nd Sunday in April next year. Hope you can still make it."

The address that worked was Cwdgun but it is now at msn.com, not aol.
