I have the opportunity to go on a hunt in the next month or 2. It will involve standard hunting for some hogs, but will also give me the opportunity to hunt at night with a red lens on a spotlight. I haven't picked up the light yet, but I was wondering if those little reticle illuminator gadgets are worth anything or just another gimmick to take $10-15 from you. Has anyone played with these things, and are they worth getting for those low light situations? Thanks.

From what I understand, these gagets are a joke. I wouldn't spend another thought on it.
