I've got the same scope as quick on my 280, with a set of high weavers. I had to do a lot of thinning on the front scope cap to get it on, I've got about 1/8" or less of barrel clearance up front. If it were a 44mag, I'd probably be able to use medium weavers for barrel clearance, but the hammer might be a problem then.
If a receiver is to be used only with scoped barrels, I'd love to de-spur the hammer, cross drill it, and thread in a piece of 4-40 or 6-32 screw, then screw on a couple pieces of knurled 1/4" brass for a hammer extention. That's not a proven idea yet, just a mental concept, but it should work if you make sure the extension does not hit the frame at any part of the hammer's travel.
