well lets see how this goes--
the winners are always applauded and the loosers villified--in a war--yet i was pondering on the war of independence, texas of course. i am prone to wonder why we, texas, have villified mexico for defending itself, why we think of the brave men who died for them as something less than hero's. these were brave men-i am not denying the atrocities commited-by both sides i can argue-but those that died to protect their country.
it seems, to me, there should be memorials to honor their folks, names of those which fell.
