marlin stainless guide gun?

just bought a williams reciever sight for mine and realized when I got home that its not drilled and tapped for it. My outfitter was whats up with this do I have a freek or were none of them done.

Same problem with my friends stainless Model 1894....  I don't think Marlin is drilling the Stainless ones for receiver sights.
