Load for 36 ADL
« on: March 02, 2005, 10:17:24 AM »
I have a very nice 36 ADL 30-30. When I traded for it the front sight had been replaced. The original was a ramp with a sight that dovetailed into a flat on the barrel. I found a sight at a gun show that fits but is a little low, the gun shoots 5" high at 50 yards. The load is a 170 gr flat point with 30.0 H322. Will 150s shoot lower, I am snowed in today and unable to go try it. Does anyone know of a supplier of a proper front sight? It needs to have a 3/8s dovetail on the ramp to fit the barrel. Any good 30-30 loads would be appreciated. Shotgunner

Try Brownell's at: http://www.brownells.com/

or Williams Gun Sights - have to call them for anything but fire sights.

or maybe even Numrich Gun Parts at: http://www.gunpartscorp.com/

good luck
