Handi-holic medallion... the thread
« on: February 27, 2005, 08:34:12 AM »
After reading the "Words from the Oracle" and MSP Ret, Varminter, and other's posts, I have volunteered myself to start this thread. At the moment it seems like the one that could be agreed upon quickest.

There are obvioulsy discussions reqired about the many different choices for caliber, barrel length, finish etc, which can be separate threads but a medallion choice seems to me, fairly simple at this point.

Do you want a Handi-holic (or whatever) medallion, and/or medallion stock set. Yes or no. And if 'Yes' how many are needed to make it happen?

(And let me first to cast a 'Yes' vote.)

If yes, is there anyone willing to create a design. Yes or no.

If yes, what do you want/need from the rest of us.

Anyone willing to 'manage' the information? Keep a tally? Research the actual requirements, production, etc?

I am willing to start the thread, but not 'mange' it. In fact I will be travelling for a month or so starting next week. I will be depending on other's computers or public computers while travelling, so I will not be able to check in here as regularly as I might otherwise, but I will try to make it at least a couple of times a week while away.

Have at 'er lads...

Cheers
Kerry

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

I take one (stock medallion set) & 2 just medallions
or 3 medallions only :D
Thought this may have dried up like so many other things do on other forums. I have no talent for design so I will have to leave that up to someone else.

Okay, the way I'm counting it looks like there is interest for about 20 medallions and possibly some stocks. (much depending on price)

I am leaving in a couple of days for my month away so who is going to VOLUNTEER (yah I know - never volunteer - but make an exception here  ) to  do the research and keep track of who wants what....

After tomorrow (Friday) I probably won't be checking in here more than a few times until early April.

And, I'm going out on a limb here and nominate MSP RET and/or Varminter based on their postings on the earlier "Oracle" thread.

MSP, Varminter.... ??? What do you two guys think?

Cheers
