I'm no expert... but...

2 pellets of Triple-7 (I don't think the Encore can take 3... this powder isn't technically approved for the Encore).  777 is 30% more powerful than pyrodex (I'd probably still only use 2 pellets of that).

A 245 or 295 grain Powerbelt.

This load is comparatively expensive per shot ($1.25 maybe).  However, 777 cleans up with water only and powerbelts are super easy to load (no wadding or sabot needed).  I only have the barrel for hunting... so on a per season basis this isn't too expensive in my opinion... and the convenience of cleanup and loading make it worth the cost to me.

I was managing a few 2" groups at 100 with this.

I also use 2 triple7 pellets with a 195 gr. Precision Rifle DC bullet. I am also using a 25 ACP case with a CCI small rifle primer, for my primer. I am getting 1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards.  :D

I'm a little old school in that I use the loose Triple 7 power.  Over 100gr. I put a Hornady XTP Mag saboted 300gr. bullet.  I average probably 1 1/2" at 100 yards with this set-up.  The one deer that I took with it showed absolutely amazing results.  Although the bullet exited on the off side the vitals looked like they had been placed in a blender.

I use 90 grains of loose triple 7 and t/c shockwave 250 grains. I also use the 25 acp breech plug  So as you can see, there is really no right foot. It is a matter of finding what your gun likes the best and shoots the best.

100 gr of 777, (not pellets), 245 powerbelts. Shoots great.
I just got some 220 gr Dead Centers that I am also going to try.

Why 3 pellets of tripe7? Are you shooting long range? I am just wondering. I find 2 is more than enough.  :-)

Ok. I was just curious. I did not get good accuracy using 3 triple7 pellets. My best accuracy came from either 100 gr. of loose triple7 or 2 pellets of triple7.  :D

I get approximately 1" groups with 2 pyrodex pellets, hornady sabot and 240 grain XTP.  Did not get good accuracy with three pellets.

I also clean between shots with a spit patch, dry patch, and then a patch lightly lubed with bore butter.

I have teflon washers under the forearm.  Don't remember if they helped in the accuracy department, but the closer to a free-floated barrel the better.

Heres my secret recipe: Two 50gn pyrodex pellets with a 250gn hornady lock-n-load sabot. I have shot consistantly under one inch at 100 yards. This is 3 shot groups with a spit patch between shots. I've shot 1.5 inch groups at 150 yards.

last summer I found this site and thought people were BS'ing on some of their groups, at first. I bought a box of 777 and pyrodex. I then purchased a box of about every sabot my gunshop had to offer. I went to the range to work on load developement.

My conclusion in my rifle was the above recipe was extremely accurate and consistant. My groups opened up once I went with three pellets of either 777 or pyrodex. Prior to working on a pet load, I used powerbelts and was not impressed with its accuracy, ease of loading yes.

I use (3) 50gr Pyrodex pellets with the Hornady 250 gr SST's. Have shot many honest 1" 100 yard groups. The Encore will handle (3) pellets of 777. I asked Ken French, of T/C, before I tried it. He claimed that he couldn't match the Pyrodex accuracy when using 3 pellets. My gun seemed to shoot it just fine at 100 yards.
