I finally had a good trip to Utah Lake today with both these rifles. One is the .243 Ultra heavy barrel. After I got the scope sighted in, it shot like this:
That coin is a dime, and after a while I started blowing spent shot gun shells off the edge of my target holder at the same distance.

Go to Photobucket and register at
http://photobucket.com/register.php
Log in, then hit the browse button, locate the pic on your PC and select it, hit the submit button, the page will refresh and your pic will be in your album......under the pic are 3 boxes, click in the bottom box marked IMG to highlight it, right click in the box and select copy....come here, create a post and click within the message box below your text and select paste, then submit your post....the photo will appear embedded below your text. :wink:

I am guessing Varget was the powder (your reply on my thread) but what was the head used for those great groups? I have a 243 ultra as well I would like to try that bullet out.

Sorry the link doesn't work like I thought it would. Just go to Bullets, rifle, then from the window with arrow choose 243/6MM.

Here is somthing funny I have tried those with IMR4350 and H414 and I have only have gotten so so results. But I will have to get some Varget and try them again.

Yep, that was the second type of load I've tried in this rifle. I could have tried many different loads, it's just lucky I guess.
