.25-06 Semi Auto options
« on: March 01, 2005, 07:48:00 AM »
I am in the market for another rifle, primary use will be close range whitetail by my son or daughter and an occassinal long range shoot at other critters.  I am leaning toward the .25-06 and would prefer an auto.  I shoot left handed and the kids shoot right handed.  What are my choices in this caliber and action?  I have a 7400 in 30-06 that has taken a lot of deer with no problems.

I do not know if the 7400 was offered in 25-06 but take a look at this special run from Grices in P.A.:

http://www.remington.com/firearms/centerfire/7600_laminated.htm

It is a 7600 pump in brown laminate in 25-06 or 7mm-08. Remington has a hot link to Grices. I have one in 25-06 on layaway. I will be picking it up in two weeks. Someone here has one in 7mm-08. MIKE.

257Robt is correct.  Browining offers 25-06 in the Safari model.
