Replacement stocks for Remington 760
« on: March 02, 2005, 04:50:43 PM »
OK, I've been reading these posts on re-bluing, and now I have the bug.  I figure I'll reblue and restock the rifle.  And I keep seeing the special edition remington 7600's with the laminated stocks, and I like the looks of them.  So, where can I find black laminated stocks for the 760?  Any and all info is appreciated.

Most stock makers make laminated stocks, and most will cut one for a 760.  Boyds is a name tha comes to mind as does Wenigs in Lincoln Missouri. One might also investigate the possblilty of these stocks interchanging.  I'd bet the would, call GunsParts and ask..   Also check the interchangeability of synthetics at Brownells..   After all there is little real difference between the 7600 and the 760..
