serial # 4,62x,xxx in near mint condition

If I am reading my book correctly your rifle was made in 1978. In my area that rifle would bring about 300.00.

my friend has one made in 1963 condition is good . What do you think these are worth /he is thinking on selling it for $200-250 and i was thinking about taking it off his hands.

Assuming good shape, I'd pick up a pre-64 m94 for $200-250 right away. If he's a good friend you might consider offering $275  :wink:

In my area a good pre-46 m94 in 30-30 will go for $400.
