Does anyone know a source for 300 H&H brass? I 've tried midway, Grafs, Natchez and Sinclairs. They either don't stock it or they are out with no real idea when they will have get any. Just found a pre '64 model 70 and an getting antsy to try it.

Sorry for your problem...........I got my last from Midway and Sinclairs......you might try the Old Western Scrounger,INC......916-459-5445......I HAVE NOT dealt with them but a friend has and got good response...they carry wildcat and hard to find brass........and probably use 300H/H to reform if nothing else.......I try to keep a few cases put back for my P64 and I have a Sako in 222mag that uses not so common cases also......hth.....good luck and good shooting-loading...SOON!!!

Why not try Midsouth Shooters Supply a GBO advertiser. Their prices are lower than either of the other places mentioned and they usually have such stuff in stock.

Hornady makes a belted basic case you can use to form any of the belted magnum rounds and I think Midsouth stocks those also.

If you have a Sportsmans Warehouse nearby, they usually stock the Winchester brand 300 H&H brass. Seems any gun store could order straight from Winchester.

Thanks for the leads; however, a local dealer with whom I had checked earlier, called and said he found some that he had hidden away and had forgoten about. I am going to try the Hornady basic brass, I did not know they marketed any thing like that. Seems as if the 300 should be realatively easy to form since it's full length and a gradual taper.
