black vs. grey possums
« on: February 06, 2003, 07:30:50 AM »
All summer I'd been catching grey possums around the house & chicken coop.  Now I've been catching black possums with grey heads.  I'd never seen black possums before.  Is this a local phenomenon ( NW Missouri)?

I get them here in mn all of the time.
Not a biggie.
They still aren't worth much.

I catch black ones all the time here in ky. I read that when prime they are supposed to be grey.

About 50% of mine caught here in KY are black and 50% grey. Neither is worth much.
