Hey fellas,

I bought a .480 SRH this past year and really like it a lot. In reading various postings, I see that many of you have a gun smith work on your revolvers: trigger work, reaming rings, etc. I am curious what you SRH guys recommend I have done to my SRH. The trigger feels a little stiff to me, so I would like to have that adjusted. What is the approximate price for the various work? Also, I am 6'5" with big hands -- my pinkie finger is beneath the bottom of the grip when I hold it -- any recommendations for after market grips that would fit my hands. Any info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

First of Welcome to Graybeard. I would say a trigger and action job, prices vary and you need to shop around. You can get larger grips from Hogue that will fit your hand better.

Welcome to the forum, Think you will like it here, Now for the fun part.
You are too big to be carrying a gun, All you need is a switch. Now back to the question about the too small grips. There are several after market grips you can get that will get your pinkey up where it belongs

I will also jump on the bandwagon here...I purchased a Hogue grip for my Super Blackhawk Hunter and and it is awesome...I am 6'3" and the stock black laminate grips just seemed a bit small for my hands and I had a hard time getting a consistent grip and feel. The Hogue Monogrip fixed that. Some people will cry sacriledge when you put rubber on a single action but I say to each his own. Anyway, they won't bag on you because you bought the SRH.
