I bought a interams 223 barreled action which I beleive is the same, and put a Bell and Carlson stock on it about 10 years ago the fit and finish is as good as any I own. Its beautifully polished and the blueing is very deep but it has always looked dark brown in the sun. It shoots great 1/2" with the right ammo 1' with almost anything. the only quirk is the bolt is kind of sticky. it is smooth but feels like thers old sticky grease on it. It hasnt bothered me enough to do anything about it. for what it is and the price its a great little walking around hunter.
