I own a few Burris and Leapold scopes, theyre the only scope brands I use. The Fullfield I own is over 25 years old. It started out as an Accutrack scope. Accutrack was one of the worst ideas Burris ever came up with. I took it to the factory which is just up the road from me and had them gut the scope and turn it back into a Fullfield with fine plex crosshairs. This scope has been on 3 different rifles, and its been my main workhorse for all these years.
Its been rained on, snowed on, dropped, bounced, kicked, and only lost zero 1 time in all these years. That was when my wife accidentally pushed it (and the Ruger No 1 it was attached to) off the hood of the truck into some rocks. The memory is still too painful to think about.
The lenses and mult-coatings are so much better today than they were 25 years ago. That new 6X-40 Fullfield II is a much better scope than mine and mine is one heck of a scope.
