Burris FullField II scopes

Is anybody using them? What is your opinion of them.

I was kinda looking at the fixed 6 power for my 300 win mag

i have a fullfield I  3.5-10X50 on my 209X50 and i absolutely love it. if the fullfield II's are any better, you will love it too....

i have had several over the years and love them too death!! would not hesitate putting one on any of my guns.

I have 3 Fullfields and 2 Fullfield II's.  Never had any problems and I do like them.  I read an article by John Barsness who writes about optics in Rifle and/or Handloader magazine.  He stated that at some big sporting goods store that he frequents in Montana (if my memory is correct), they offer a service of sending scopes in for repairs for customers who bought their scopes there.  According to Barsness the Leupolds and the FF II's were the ones that got returned the least.  Scopes are such an opinionated subject, that this sounds like about as good a recommendation as you could want.  I am kind of a fixed power guy myself and I think you have made an excellent choice for your rifle. The Burris Fullfield II with the ballistic plex are really nice.  I have a 3-9x40 with ballistic plex on my encore 22-250.  I couldn't be happier with it.  I like the ballistic plex quite a bit for any rifle that will be used for long range work.

I own a few Burris and Leapold scopes, they’re the only scope brands I use. The Fullfield I own is over 25 years old. It started out as an Accutrack scope. Accutrack was one of the worst ideas Burris ever came up with. I took it to the factory which is just up the road from me and had them gut the scope and turn it back into a Fullfield with fine plex crosshairs. This scope has been on 3 different rifles, and it’s been my main workhorse for all these years.

It’s been rained on, snowed on, dropped, bounced, kicked, and only lost zero 1 time in all these years. That was when my wife accidentally pushed it (and the Ruger No 1 it was attached to) off the hood of the truck into some rocks. The memory is still too painful to think about.

The lenses and mult-coatings are so much better today than they were 25 years ago. That new 6X-40 Fullfield II is a much better scope than mine and mine is one heck of a scope.

I have six Burris scopes, two are the 3 X 9 X 40 Fullfield II Ballistic Plex. I really like mine! The Ballistic marks are hard to see in low light though.  The only Burris I have had problems with is a high dollar Signature Series scope. It has small specks of trash on the inside. I need to send it back again. That hasn't stopped me form buying more though. Customer service was good the first time but the specks have retuned again.
I have seen various opinions on Burris here but I like and will use them until they let me down.
