can't shoot another gun
« on: January 11, 2005, 06:16:10 PM »
I have shot sigs, h&k's, beretta, kimber, springfield... (you get the point)

And I can't shoot any of them as well as my G22... could be the 12,050 rounds that I have now put through it (I have the reciepts of all of the ammo that I have bought for it because my wife wanted me to "document and record" my wasted money. I don't think it was wasted)

Either way, I love that thing!

willis5,
You stated that you had "shot" the other guns you mentioned. Just wondering if you own/owned any of the others. I own a dozen or so pistols representing some of the ones you mentioned. I also own three Glocks 17/36/21. The ones that get the most play around here are the 17 & 21, along with my "Classic Target" Kimber. The ones that I shoot the most are the ones I'm most accurate with. The Kimber  is much more accurate than the others, but I enjoy shooting my Glocks. Glad to hear that you pratice with your 22, love the frame size and the hicapacity of the 17/22!!

 I own just about everything you mentioned along with many different Brownings, Colts, S&Ws.  I like the Glock, both, my 22 & 23 shoot great most of the time, that's with either the .40 or .357 barrel.  But if I could only have one pistol it would be a model 229 Sig, I have put over a thousand rounds through both barrels and have never had a jam.  I can't say that for the Glock.

Guess that's the reason there are so many different manufactures out there, everyone has their opinion

I own Kimber,Glock, Sig and S&W.  The glock trigger is so much of a different feel.  Like mush........or a sponge

Glock triggers are unique. I have owned a 31 and a 20 and sold both because of the triggers. I shoot mostly 1911's and S&W revolvers mostly because of their good triggers.

I love the weight, feel and capacity of the glocks as well as the price and durability. Just wish I could learn to love the triggers. :? Regards, Byron
