Polaris 2004.5 models
« on: January 01, 2004, 06:16:10 PM »
Anyone got any comments about the sportsman 04.5 models recently released from Polaris.

seem to be different in that they now have a digital fuel guage (and about time too) and different tyres.

Are the Premium Carlisle Badlands™ XTR radial tyres any good ?

Can't help much with the 04.5s but the Badlands are a great tire for riding hardpack dirt and sand.  Do quite well on the rocks too.  Not much of a mud tire though.  Good allround trail tire.  Smooth riding.

I own one in the Mossy Oak camo finish.  Great machine!  I put the PXT radials on it recently.
