centerfires for coyote in iowa

hi can anybody tell me if you can use centerfire rifles to hunt coyote and fox in iowa, we go there pheasant hunting evey year and always see a few coyotes and would like to try doing some calling.

yes you can.  I live in iowa, and hunt coyote regularly.  Use any rifle you want.

hey Iowa Buck Hunter I would love to try some coyote hunting and need a mentor to help get me started.  Would you be interested in showing a new guy the ropes sometime?  I live in the Des Moines area but will travel to learn.  I will be too busy this spring but I am already getting geared up for fall.

Welcome to the forum, While your waiting for some one to mentor you look on the net for for calling programs, there is a bunch of good information to be had.
