H&R Model 929 (date of manufacture?)
« on: February 21, 2005, 06:06:45 AM »
Howdy Folks,

I've got a short barreled model 929 22LR that was handed down to me by my grandfater after he died.  When I was a youngster and would accompany him when he went collecting rent, this was the revolver he carried in his jacket pocekt.  The gun is in lousy shape with plenty of dngs and scratches but it holds a lot of memories for me.  Any idea how old it might be with a serial number of AM322XX?

Thanks,

Matt

Hey MATT,
I just went to this site and my question was ansered.  www.armscollectors.com    Look for the Non-Military H&R and Iver Johnson forum.  I had the serial # and found out year of manufacture etc.  Good Luck.
