Are there any web sites that have some basic fundamentals with BP loading and shooting, especially as compared to smokeless loading.  I want to get a quick learn before I ask detailed questions.

Have you read these 2 links? One is an on-line reloading primer; the other deals w/ LR shooting. Both are written by successful BPCR shooters.

Thanks, thats a lot of info, just what I wanted.  This looks like a considerable step up in loading effort compared to smokeless.  I dont think I can get into it now, maybe down the road sometime when my kids are older and I have more time.

i know you asked for on line books but two books that keep being mentioned are by mathews and steve garby..    .  search these at bookstores on the net  . youl may  find it with some persistence..  also i dont think   anyone   on the web forums will have a problem with the least significant questions..  i would also seach the archives here and at the shilo rifle pages, there is a wealth of info there....  http://www.shilohrifle.com/forums/index.php?sid=9124fc9d86940e9450504510a0a4ae63    ... (i couldnt find steve garbeys book at his ballard web site.. its supposed to be a good one tho.  good luck dave..
