Yep, if the perfect shot comes about. The one that got shot last year, was draged away by the other bigfeets, according to my amigos, that was down there in Louisanna.
They probably could be tamed, if one could capture one, but you would have to have tranquilized it, and I ain't going to take a chance of it not being tranquilized enough, and coming to, about the time you try to get him loaded up, and he tears my head off.
They been around forever, in some parts of the country than other parts. And they didn't evolve, they are a north American ape, that has stayed hidden enough to not have been collected as of yet. Most north american indian tribes have stories of them from the beginning of time. Even Eric the viking has battled with them, when he was here.
Yeah, I`da say that you are correct about their quickness, speed, etc, is what some people associate when they say that they just disappear, into thin air, but actual, its the speed that they run or disappear behind thick foliage.
My amigos and me have been studying these creatures for 4 or 5 years together now, I myself have been studing them for the last 17 years, so we have a pretty good knowledge of them. Their just ain't no way a man is going to walk up on one on,--except by pure accident. The best way to hunt them is from an elevated postition, --tree, platform--or some high vantage point, and just sit and observe. It takes years to just find out where they are roaming. Point is that most of reports, are seen during deer season, by hunters in their tree stands, while they are deer hunting. Some get reported, and some never report the thing they see for fear of being made fun of.
You and I agree on one of the ways to get them to come in, by cooking bacon or some type of meat.
If your ever this way, stop by and I`ll show you my pictures.
