Trigger Job!
« on: March 14, 2005, 05:35:26 AM »
In anticipation of my T/C, I purchased a trigger job kit from Mike Bellm.  My T/C took forever to get here.  It is here now and I cannot find anything wrong with the trigger.  I really do not know if I would want it lighter.  What are y'all seeing.   This is the new G2.  I have not had it measured, but I am thinkin' right now that I do not want to tear into it and do something I might regert.

Your thoughts?
Thanks and Gig''em

Mark, Not for nuthin' here - but I think you have already answered your own question by your own observations.  If it ain't broke?  Why fix it?

Mark, you got lucky with your G2.  I have 2 G2's and the triggers were both AWFUL!!  A trigger job made them both right.  Also, what is the deal with Mike Bellm.  Why is his name blacked out in all posts?  Is there a problem with his work or something?  Not trying to start anything, but it is odd that all you see is *****.

I'm not sure about the reason for the *** but I had him do a trigger job on my G2.  I had to send it back to him because the pull was a good bit heavier than I ordered, but he redid it without any problems, and it's really good now.  I like a really light trigger on a handgun, and mine's probably about 1 1/2 pounds now.

Both my G-2s have better triggers than my originals.  Neither one needed any work.  They break like a glass rod at about 2 pounds.

Mike ***** and GB have some bad blood between them.  Just what that is really isn't any of our business.  Its just one of those things.  Pretty easy to accept I think for the ability to hang out here.

You are a grown up, and can do what you want.  I want to stay here and learn and share, so I don't plan to poke Greybeard with a stick.  You can make your own decision.
